Hi Colleen and Cheryl, I am resilient and so are you, two! I'm grateful for hearing about your mutual ideas to grow in boldness. Having lost my father when I was 13 I made the immediate decision to be ambitious, listen to no man tell me what to do and be my own woman. I knew I would be different because I was a girl. My Marine Sgt. father loved me but died at 13. He taught me to be humorous and laugh at life's unfairness. My mother expected me to be good. I combined those two entities and never doubted my strength so I cast them forth into the world. My father taught me that I could be my own woman and be courageous. My mom taught me to be bold and speak up when necessary and protect victims and innocence in all forms.. I now help other women to do the same thing and for 37 years now. It's exhilarating to see a spirit soar when one wakes up to the life they were always supposed to be living. A friend of mine with the loss of two infants has become a prolific artist. She took her agonies to the canvass, she transcended her earth-bound prison. They are helping to give her back her life. They are also paying he mortgage! Keep up your good work!
